I’m so exciting to know that Problogdesign has made a review on the design of vikiworks, big thanks to their exclusive evaluation.

Updates Sep 16: I’ve fixed the comment issue when you’re using IE6/7, also I remove ’submit button’ instead of with default one, now it works fine. Big thanks to Steve who did a lot coding work to improving this theme and thanks for all your comments and feedback, I really do. I also attached a background image with that curved shadow, please download the zip file.

As I promised you earlier that I will release my current WP theme (I call it ‘resurrection’ and you can call it whatever you like) to public download. Well… here it is.

I have removed some of my personal stuff such as my cellphone, PSP, Yankee hat etc from background image instead of something else, you can change it in anyway by doing a little photoshop work.

Vikiworks resurrection theme for Wordpress

The following plugins are required for this theme and something you should do after you’ve downloading:

  • Please DO keep a linkback for me.
  • Modify sidebar.php to replace google adsense with yours.
  • Don’t support widgets yet.
  • 3 extras background image are included.
  • UTW tag, Page Navi and Twitter-tool plugins are required on this theme (also attached in download)

    Have you noticed that the layout is broken in ie6? Also I am unable to comment when using ie6. And the tweeter feed doesn’t display correctly in any browser.

    I am not so sure yichi left all my rewrites in place on the last release. So either the divs are in the wrong order or you need to change the CSS float values for them.

  51. The only problem is the fact that it doesn’t support widgets - so all sidebar modifications would have to be done through the sidebar.php file, which I really couldn’t be bothered with. If it wasn’t for that, I would be using it right now.

  104. Okay I fixed the whole box across the bird thing, I just disabled posting a tweet from the sidebar and it worked beautifully. Now the only thing i’m having a problem with is displaying tags. For some reason a list of tags isn’t populating. Also for some reason my Google AdSense won’t show up. Any ideas?
