Today I’ve encountered a crash issue with Adobe Illustrator!!! Actually It was not app itself, while I’m working on something in Illustrator CS3 and trying to save my file, it totally crashed without a warning, without a chance to saving any piece from your file… and it keep it that way no matter reboot the system or re-install the app.
I’ve randomly turned off some services that I don’t use frequently to squeeze any possible resource. I realized that I turned off Print Spooler service last week since I had rarely using any print service at home. So I’ve turned it back on, Whoa! Illustrator works again! Never, never turn off your Print Spooler service on your computer, otherwise Illustrator won’t work.

新改版的主题更漂亮了,不过在IE6下侧边跑到下面去了
还有和我同样的问题:IE6下侧边Recent entries的链接块间距过大,在IE7和火狐下不会(上下链接内容是连接的)

I’ve discussed this on my blog also. It’s fine if you turned it off willingly. In my case a server printer causes my print spooler to randomly crash. I have to always remember to restart it, since I need both the printer and Illustrator, but its so easy to save without remembering. I think its ridiculous that the print spooler is required to save files in illustrator. Its also required to copy smart objects over from Illustrator to Photoshop.
