First of all, a big thankyou to everyone who took part in supporting me to release another Wordpress theme, special thanks to ququhu who brought us a revised design and it work with IE8 (details in Chinese here).
V5 theme was actually based on my previous theme, if you’re following my resurrection theme you’ll know that making a theme wasn’t easy for me, after spent sometime and a few rounds fighting with codes, removed any improper stuff now here it comes. Take a look at this snapshot below:

I’ve have a small problem. Im getting a java error. Firebug is giving me the following error:

Hi! first of all, thank you for putting up these amazing looking themes! I just need a little help! i downloaded the theme and added it into my wp-themes folder on my site like i always do, but this one and also ressurection are not appearing in my “availabe themes” when i log into my wordpress… they are not showing up.. but i’m not doing anything differently… any idea?

I’m having some issues with mine right now because I tried to customize it a bit and ran into some issues.
It looks wrong on IE none of the side bar modules show up. When you click on the slide bar pictures it shoots up to an anchor tag..no sure what i did there.
At the bottom there is a scroll bar..is that supposed to be there?
Maybe you could take a look and offer suggestions?

Jul 7th, 2008 at 10:41 amFirst off, this is a VERY nice theme. I have made some graphic changes to customize it but I have made no changes to the coding. I am having some problems and I really hope you can help me out. There are 3 issues im experiencing and it’s all to do with how to renders in Internet Explorer 7. Everything looks perfect in Firefox
1. The top Nav bar doesn’t show all the pages I have, only 1 of 8.
2. The twitter box you type in doesn’t show at all.
3. Last is the Flicker RSS pictures are arranged down at an angle.
I uploaded screen shots to my site to make it easier to see what i am talking about.

This is really embraced it encountered such as mistake under IE7, since I’m running Mac/Firefox so I just assumed it probably work fine. Anway, I’ll make an update on this theme and I’ll let you once it been fixed.

I’ve done some tweaking with yichi’s theme’s codes, and very minimal graphics customization, since I have no time to do that yet, but if you can check out my site, then you’ll see that there’s really nothing wrong with the theme. The only problem that I haven’t solved with the theme, is the date for the comments, when you comment at a later date on a post, the date shows up as the same date when the post was published and not when the comment was published.
I’ve checked on the theme with IE7 and Firefox 3, everything seemed alright. Try to check on the sizes of the images that you replaced on the theme, that could be it.
BTW, yichi, I’m gonna try to move the date function to the end of the post, that might help with my problem, I’ll let you know when I do, ok?

Jul 18th, 2008 at 1:27 amAfter playing around with the codes trying to figure out why the sidebar wasn’t appearing (basically any elements from the comment text box) when you view the actual post (single.php), i decided to google it up and found out that i needed the subscribe-to-comments plugin.
Seems like “show_subscription_checkbox()” needed a function which fetches from the plugin.
After installing it the page works perfectly! I haven’t encountered any other issues yet but thought i’d share this incase others had similar issues.

Still didn’t change a thing. I have removed every file off my site and even re installed wordpress with your new update as well. Nothing seems to fix this. It only happens when i enable the simple-tags plug in.

这是我帮妹妹做的建立的一个博客，用的就是这个模板，yichi，非常感谢。
在你模板的基础上我改了一下，将其中的twitter，flickr ，还有广告块都去掉了，另外，content宽度也被调整了比之前宽一点，将总宽度调到了1000px，本来想用100%自适应的，但是感觉不是很好看就放弃了，然后，将所有内容居中。
可是正当我感觉还不错的时候，发现那个who am i 的滑块不工作了。

I’ve set up my twitter tools options and choose to show 3 tweets in the side bar and i checked “create tweets from your sidebar”.
But the messages i make wont show, and i cant write new ones from the sidebar, there’s no editbox.

Only it is lacking the rss button anywhere on the theme design even it has the icon in the images folder…..suppose we need to put it ourself. Anyone knows how to place the rss button around the header section, right corner & coding if needed?
And there is no search box, which is different from other theme.
Overall, this theme will be what I am going to use. Bravo & keep up the good work, yichi!
