(mt) mediatemple has announced to upgrade existing server to (gs) Grid server, the whole progress includes 3 major steps and takes about 17 hrs to complete migration. I am not sure of it caused any downtime, thanks to mediatemple!
I’m EXCITED about the new interface & layout, very clean! And I feel much easier to navigate, those icons precisely designed for the functionality let me focus on what I’m gonna do, not to exploring one by one.

The theme I’m currently using is called “eyeball” temporally. It actually was inspired by H2O and based on Hemingway theme. I made some changes to fit my personal sense. I am new to Wordpress so there are many features await to exploring.
Now “eyeball” theme is coming and you can grab a copy below, it works on IE6,7 and Firefox browsers, it requires Wordpress 2.0 or above. Also, in this download version, I removed my logo and made two extra header background images for your convenience. Enjoy it!

Installation:
1. Unzip the theme folder and files.
2. Upload the folder and files into your /wp-content/themes/ folder.
3. Activate the theme in the Dashboard > Presentation menu.

以前一直將網站放在上海的ISP中，訪問速度等一直都不太理想。本周我將Blog轉至mediatemple，以便有更穩定和更友好地的管理平臺，Wordpress在其提供的(ss) shared server空間下運行的相當完美，執行效率也遠高於以前。開心！
其強大的管理平臺應該是基於cpanel的，總之我不懂linux，只是感覺像是。操作界面很友好，這一點他們的確做的好！讓我這個沒有任何PHP及數據庫經驗的人在刷卡付費後20分鐘就全部搞定了！
這裏我貼幾張管理頁面的screenshot，內行的朋友可以看看是否是cpanel? 我購買的是2GB（好像是最小的）空間，同一帳號可以綁定5個不同域名，這個我以後再試試看了。

I’m not sure about if their powerful management might be based on Cpanel or something like that (I have no Linux experience). It only took me 20 minutes to finalize my entire blog system setting up after paid them.
Anyway, here are some screenshots of setting up. My (ss) shared server includes:
- 2gb storage space
- 1tb bandwidth
- 1,000 email address
- Host up to 5 additional websites
- 100 sub-domains with dedicated IP address

Wordpress improving my blogging experience easier than ever before, I still remember that back to the older time when I was using static HTML pages, it give me a big headache on each update on my site. Every time I updated my site, I needed to replace all HTML files on the server and eventually I got tired updating my site. So I went around search for some better Content Management System (CMS) and I found WordPress! It is such a great blogging and easy-to-use tool. Cheers!
WordPress was originally designed for weblog (blog) purpose, but with some extra plugins, I turned it into a simple content management tool to manage my site. Now I can focus on writing content instead of wasting my time on site maintenance. WordPress is very user-friendly and easy to learn. It makes designers’ life (like me) so much easier. You don’t even need to know PHP programming to customize the template. The most you need to know is probably basic PHP include function and HTML coding. There are tons of free plugins and themes available for download to enchant the default WordPress’s features.
